Use upcycled scraps to create adorable stuffed animals (or monsters!).
Students will learn to:
Thoughtfully upcycle fabrics
Work from a pattern
Hand-sew a seam
Fill and finish a stuffed animal
Intermediate/Advance students may choose to:
Create a pattern of their own design
Learn and/or use machine sewing skills
Students are encouraged to bring “sentimental fabric” such as favorite outgrown clothing or old baby blankets to include in their projects.
Open to students in Grades 3-8. No prior experience necessary.
